Core Values
PATH seeks to improve outcomes for those who experience or witness trauma, as evident by ability to maintain employment and increased positive coping ability, in conjunction with lower rate of hospitalization, lower suicide rates, and lower co-morbid outcomes.
The goal of PATH is to increase awareness of services that are available to trauma victims, assist with the development of additional services that specialize in trauma, and bridge the gap of the need for services with a community directory.
PATH is unique in its approach, as it takes a holistic view of trauma and relates it to medical and behavioral health needs, in partnership with community and social-connectedness. One of the complaints of individuals with trauma is the stigma of treatment, sensitivity of the injury, and the challenge to connect with qualified providers.
PATH treats all individuals regardless of age, gender identity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, profession, veteran status, race, ethnicity, and citizenship, with dignity and respect.
PATH honors our organization and the community by being socially, financially, and environmentally responsible with our actions and intentions.
PATH conveys the highest ethical and professional standards and uses opportunities to challenge each other and strive for excellence in our commitment to improving lives.
PATH embraces our ability to improve community standards, using bold and creative plains for change and strives to maintain lasting, tangible results that can continue to be recreated and improved upon.
